Michelle has a Bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing from the University of Redlands in California. It was here that she was first introduced to yoga. She graduated from the Anuttara 200 hour teacher training in July 2011 and continued to study more extensively the philiosophy of yoga. She graduated Levels 1 and 2 of Raja Yoga from Anuttara and in addition, she has training in Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater, and Yin Yoga with Joe Barnett. She enjoys to continually expand her knowledge and practice.
Michelle is also a Reiki Master and and Integrated Energy Therapy practitioner and has completed the Becoming the Human Crystal program from the Crystalis Institute. She believes in incorporating different modalities to heal the body, mind, and spirit. She is an avid reader and has published several articles on the benefits of yoga, meditation, travel as well as working with crystals.
Originally from NH, she loves the outdoors and enjoys nature photography. She believes in the importance of connecting with and preserving the natural world. Her students say she has a soothing voice and very gentle,calming presence She is passionate about yoga and meditation and the benefits each person can gain from practicing. Yoga has been an integral part of her own healing journey.
